Enjoy music? Even if you’ve never learned how to play a musical instrument before in your life, this tour may be for you. Learn the basics of three traditional Japanese instruments with an experienced instructor.

    In this tour, you can experience three different types of Japanese traditional musical instruments, the “Shamisen”, “Taiko” and “Fue”.
    The “Shamisen” is a three-stringed Japanese guitar, played with a plectrum.
    The “Taiko” is a Japanese drum.
    The “Fue” is a Japanese bamboo flute.

    This tour is entirely suitable for complete beginners.
    A music teacher  will first show their own performances, then they will teach you how to handle and play each of the instruments.
    It is very unique experience available only in Japan, and surely one of many wonderful memories of your travel to Japan.

    After the 90 minutes of musical lessons, we will visit Matsuri no Mori (Takayama Festival Museum) to observe the festival floats and puppets up close. These exhibitions are shown together with traditional music by Taiko and Shino Bue.

    On the other hand, if you are interested in a totally different Japanese musical experience, you can try the Japanese Karaoke box for 1 hour,
    with extra 2,000 JPY / person.

    If interested in traditional Japanese music, anyone can participate in this tour. There  is no need to be good at any other form of music, and it doesn’t require any special musical skills or experience.
